I am an Android apps developer and am currently looking for native speakers of major languages to translate 2 apps.
Mostly needed languages:
Chinese
Italian
Korean
Indonesian
Arabic
Not needed languages: English, German, Russian, French, Spanish, Japanese, Dutch, Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, Portuguese, Romanian
Translating to other languages is possible, yet it depends on how much you ask for the job and if the language is popular enough.
To estimate the amount of work please download the task in the attached file. All files inside "your_language" for both apps should be translated, namely:
for "MonkeyUFO":

for "MovieHunter":

Read [login to view URL] for detailed instructions. It's much less inside the files to translate than it loooks! E.g. you don't need to translate string identifiers.
The apps are currently published with English, German and Russian localizations. You can see them here:

Requirements:
You have an Android 2.1+ device (critical, because you will need to see how the translated strings look inside the app and also have the app before you while translating to be able to see where each string is used)
You are a native speaker and can write without grammar or syntactical mistakes in your language
You are honest and don't use Google Translate or similar (strings will be double checked by other native speakers)
You have some technical understanding and know how XML and HTML files look. You will have to write translated strings directly into XML and HTML files
## Deliverables
The task will be done in stages: first you translate the strings, then send to me. I insert the strings into the app and send the app to you. You check if all strings fit into the GUI (in terms of length and meaning), make any corrections, send the corrections back to me, I insert again, send back to you for final review. These steps could be optimized if you have an Eclipse and Android SDK installed and know how to build and run an Android app on your device.
Use "Custom locale" app to switch between locales on your phone.
See [login to view URL] for more instructions.
