Backend Development: • Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using PHP. • Write clean, well-designed, and efficient code. • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic. • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. • Implement security and data protection measures. • Conduct regular system tests to ensure robustness and reliability of the applications. 2. Database Management: • Create and maintain databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) that support the applications. • Ensure high performance and responsiveness for queries and data retrieval. • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to establish database connections and optimize queries for efficiency. 3. API Development: • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems. • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic. • Implement authentication and authorization protocols for secure API endpoints. 4. Collaboration and Communication: • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality solutions. • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and best practices. • Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide progress updates and address challenges. 5. Problem Solving: • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems as necessary. • Identify and fix software defects and inconsistencies. • Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in PHP development. Requirements: • Proven experience as a PHP developer, with a strong portfolio of past projects. • Solid understanding of PHP, its quirks, and workarounds. • Proficient in PHP frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter) and libraries. • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and understanding of fundamental design principles. • Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming. • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages. • Understanding accessibility and security compliance. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities within a team environment.
