**Project--**Rewrite/Redesign a Visual Basic Application to Delphi/Firebird application. ## Deliverables **Project--**Rewrite/Redesign a Visual Basic Application to Delphi 7/Firebird 1.52 application. The application is a big data validation application that displays the errors found back to the user. The programmer that works on this application must be a STRONG analysis. The Visual Basic application is missing an Active X control so it no longer runs. The application is made up is about 16 classes-- 1 very large, 2 large and the others are small. The database will need to be redesigned so that the process can be a data driven process. The input can come from 2 places-- a file or a table. Create a single input record and 2 processes to convert both inputs into a 1 standard input. The current application logs each procedure that it goes through. I want this feature removed. The Visual Basic application is very poorly written and designed-- I also want this corrected. I can provide you with ModelMaker 8 to use on this project. **Coding Guidelines:** 1. Use function where ever possible not procedures. Whenever possible, have the function return true when it works and false when it does not. 2. All code should be in a double try except block. I will show format that I like. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
