Picture splitter and printing program

We take scanned images of 8 1/2 x 11 portrait images and we split them into two 4 1/2 x 11 portrait (we take the top 4 1/2 inches of the page and the bottom 4 1/2 inches so we have an overlap in the middle). We then print each of these split images onto 11 x 17 paper landscape enlarged as much as can be to fit within the margins. We need to have a program that does these two steps automatically, splitting the images, and printing them enlarged. The overlap (or size of each split image) should be configurable and the target paper size should also be configurable. We would also like to add the ability to send these images to our HP 5SI / duplexer and have them come out in a very specific way, but that can be a follow-up project. It would be best if this can be written in VB 6, but we are flexible if it's not possible this way. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform preferably VB6
