Article Versioning for Travel Community Website (long-term partner company wanted!)

ABOUT THE SITE [login to view URL] is an online travel community. The website is in an early stage but already online. SCOPE OF THIS PROJECT Hitiki consists of user-written articles. You will code and implement a versioning system for all articles which will be similar to the one at mediawiki. Users should be able to browse older versions of an article and administrators should be able to reactivate an old version. The code has to be well documented and then checked in to the Hitiki development server via subversion. The server environement is LAMP. If you need access to the Hitki source code before placing a bid, please ask and I will arrange that. Please find the detailed requirements in the attached document (22 pages). Screen design and HTML-coding is NOT part of this project. HITIKI OFFERS A LONG-TERM PERSPECTIVE Hitiki is looking for a long-term partner company to do ALL the development work for Hitiki in the future. This will include coding new features, bug fixing and 24/7 support (in case the site goes down, somebody should answer our phone call and fix the problem). That's why we search for a company and NOT for individuals. This not the scope of this project but just the long-term perspective. REQUIREMENTS - You have completed at least two RentACoder-projects above the price of 1000 USD. - Your rating is 9 or higher. - You are a company with at least two experienced PHP-programmers. - Both programmers live in the time zones from GMT -3 to GMT +4. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform back-end: Linux, Apace, MySQL, PHP
