Software Testing

Test a history eraser utility (program and spec attached) until all requirements are met. The utility is targeted to launch in 1 week. 1) Test cases will be based on the attached test matrix spreadsheet (in Test Report directory of attachment). 2) Once a build is released, your job will be to go through the test pass for each release and determine what doesn't work as specified. 3) Complete test results should be posted within 12 hours after a new build is released. 4) You must have all the platforms & software available to yourself to conduct the testing. We do not provide testing hardware/software except for the utility being tested. 5) For each test in the test matrix, record the whole process of the test as a Macromedia Flash (using <[login to view URL]>, set Playback Controls to Advanced, all other settings use default) and insert it as a link in the test matrix spreadsheet (see example in attached spreadsheet) such that it can be verified. The About boxes of each software and OS being tested should be visible throughout the clip to show the software versions being tested. ## Deliverables 1a) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 1b) Skinning guide explaining how to create new skins. The skinning mechanism and the skinning guide document should target computer graphic artists who do not have programming background. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Win95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003
