133753 oscommerce:different languages

We are using oscommerce for our webshop. Oscommerce has several plugins for different languages. But, it's still a big job when another language needs to be added or when there is an adaptation. Also not all languages are available. 1) We would like to see all 'language' terms as variables. 2) One database containing those terms (One table, within the first column those terms, second column english words, third column french words and so on..) Thus : A column for each language (this we will do, english is enough) 3) A function containing : query to the database with requested term+requested language in order to replace the variables with the correct words when the web page is called.
