Based on the project requirements, I can deliver a highly functional and engaging Minecraft server that features several useful mechanics. I have ample experience in developing game mechanics and have worked with several gaming studios in the past.
I will create the following mechanics within the server:
- Develop buyable plots for shops
- Enable plot allocation to individuals within towns
- Create a series of quests and missions
- Program NPC vendors to offer items in their respective zones (taverns, etc.)
- Develop a system where players lose their inventory, coins, and plots when they die (killed by an event mob), with an auto-save feature in case of errors.
- Design and implement the server's economy system, including banks, currency, etc.
- Create an NPC that provides players with faction selection options and assigns a role automatically. Also, include a confirmation button that explicitly states that players cannot change factions unless they send a letter to the king.
- Another NPC that will allow players to quit their assigned role, but they cannot take on another until the king assigns them.
- Restrict access to certain leisure centers during the day, but players can interact with NPCs at night.
- Optimize the server for performance.
- Make hostile mobs more challenging by increasing their strength and resistance.
- Automatically teleport players to the nearest hospital when they die (not caused by mobs).
