I have a 'custom' CRM that I am building and is being targeted to a specific type of business. One component I am missing though is to enable, say a sales person, to track phone calls (who was called, duration, etc) and text messages to their prospects directly from their phone. The app would need to post this information to the website where I can process it (only keep the info if the phone numbers match the numbers in the database, etc). In summary: Track Phone Call duration and number dialed/caller Track Text messages, including the phone # and content. Post/Send the information via HTTP/JSON/XMLRPC (whatever works best) to a web site (specified by the user) The goal is that with the app on their phone, they would go to the web-based CRM and see all the communications they've had with the prospect in one screen, regardless of source (call, email, text, etc). Eventually I'd like to provide a way for them to view the contacts from the CRM on the app, but we can discuss that later. Hello, your project sounds very similar to one I have done for German CRM supplier. The problem was is that you can track calls only on Android devices. iOS & Windows Phone don't allow catching information about calls and sms from the device. You can only get notified about incoming call(without details) if your application is running in foreground. Also by info-sms( # sms) only the number is provided, content is shown as a flash sms and will be not saved on the device. If I have understand it correctly, You don't have any WebServices in your CRM yet? So you will need WebService development and integration for your CRM and the App. If you are interested, we can discuss it more detailed The price is only an example, we can discuss it later.
