Hello, My name is Minori Kato. I have been translating Japanese ⇔ English for about 5 years now. I gained my experience localizing JRPG as a Translator/Project Coordinator during my time at NIS America and Spike Chunsoft Inc. I have localized both small games that consisted of 20,000 words to at least 800,000 words. One of the games I am most proud of is Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk where I localized all game text, websites, artbook, and recorded all audio lines from JP to ENG with my editor. So I believe I have a deep understanding and experience of how game text should be translated. Although I have mainly been focused on localizing JRPG games to English, some of my responsibilities back then and even at my current job at an IT software company is to translate English responses from my colleagues to Japanese on a daily basis for business emails, conference meetings, and localize all of the IT software brochures for my current company from ENG to JP.
