Automated Proposal Plot Extraction: Enhancing Information Retrieval and Decision-Making in Construction Project Analysis

We are seeking a freelancer to develop a Proposal Plot Extraction Model. The goal of this model is to automatically extract relevant plot information, including the number of plots or dwellings, from project proposals. The model should be capable of handling a variety of formats, including both numeric and text representations of plot numbers. Additionally, it should calculate and provide the total number of plots being built. This model will streamline the process of extracting crucial information from proposals and aid in decision-making for our organization. Responsibilities 1. Develop a machine learning model for Proposal Plot Extraction using state-of-the-art natural language processing techniques. 2. Collect and preprocess a diverse dataset of project proposals with mixed text and numeric representations of plot numbers. 3. Train and fine-tune the model using the dataset to accurately extract plot information and calculate the total number of plots from new proposals. 4. Evaluate and validate the model's performance using appropriate metrics and cross-validation techniques. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the model into our existing infrastructure and systems. 6. Continuously monitor and optimize the model's performance to ensure high accuracy and reliability. Requirements: - Strong background in natural language processing and machine learning. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. - Experience with text preprocessing techniques, feature engineering, and model training and evaluation. - Familiarity with data collection, cleaning, and annotation processes. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant Number: 201 Total Number of Plots: 201 2. Proposal Text: Construction of 35 new homes, including 18 2-bedroom flats and 17 3-bedroom houses. Relevant Numbers: 35, 18, 17 Total Number of Plots: 70 3. Proposal Text: Development of a residential complex with ten detached houses and 22 townhouses. Relevant Numbers: 10, 22 Total Number of Plots: 32 4. Proposal Text: Conversion of an office building into 26 residential units. Relevant Number: 26 Total Number of Plots: 26 5. Proposal Text: Proposed development of 8 plots for single-family homes. Relevant Number: 8 Total Number of Plots: 8 Please note that in addition to extracting the relevant numbers, the model should calculate the total number of plots being built by summing up all the individual plot numbers mentioned in the proposal text.
