to protect your website follwing things need to be done. 1. check if any of your drupal plugins( if used ) have a loophole 2. update drupal to latest rlease 3. harden you drupal installation /limit no of logins etc 4. harden your os throught iptables, ip2ban 5. block all ports except 80 and 443 if you only have web server. open additional ports if necessary. 6. if you have ssh enabled, limit no of login attemps, restrict ips etc 7. update php/apache/nginx/sql/mariadb/postsql to latest. these are the common ones. after accessing your servers i can give you a detailed report:; and if you agree on my recommendations, i will implement those.
