Hi,
I have been working on a basic Help Desk prototype in Access. It's only for demonstration purposes and if approved will be developed properly .
At the moment it's all based around a cheap MS Access DB (forms, reports, the lot). I would be grateful if someone could make a quick functional mockup of it in VB.NET. It really only has to be very, very basic. As long as it works it can work as a basic demonstration platform.
I have attached the Access DB.
Only limiting factors are that the VB.NET app must be standalone, commented and connect via a built in VB.NET DB engine (ie: JET) or similar to draw the data in and out of the Access DB. Must be free of copyright, author markings etc.
I have attached the DB in a zip file ([login to view URL])
Really, I just need help to get a basic, cheap, system, running, functional in much the same way as the Access version with, taking into account the queries, forms and reports via Crystal Reports. It really only has to be basic so I can hack it about and get it how I need it.
Let me know if you can help.
Regards,
Phil.
