The basic form to solve the flickering problem will be using a doublebuffer. That plus avoiding waisting resources instantiating objects instead constantly. At least other optimization that I learned programing with the Kinect SDK was about the WriteableBitmap asi this fix a location in memory to put ther the data from the pixels of a constantly changing image. The task itself sounds simple, just paying attention and checking different ways of optimizing the image rendering. I'm sure one day will be enough to show something that fulfill your requirements.
