Design automotive onboard IoT computer (Raspberry Pie or similar)

I have built an electric race car and I need to design an onboard computer that will communicate with the onboard systems and send real time information to the outside world (likely a type of IoT platform) via 5G connection. This is an initial ask for an ‘MVP’ design, that consists of: * Research the market for readily available hardware (as few components as possible given harsh, high vibration, up to 2G lateral acceleration environment) and build a shopping list * Research the best operating system options and already available software packages (both open source and commercial) to assure the communication * Put hardware together and build a test rig, first to be tested on a desk, then to be put in a car for initial testing on the racetrack The next stage of the project (extra milestone) will be to put together the hardware into a standalone device and bundle the software components into an easily deployable software kit. Task to be performed: 1/ Communicate with STM32F103 board inside the electric motor [login to view URL],[login to view URL] Through set and get commands. 2/ Connect to CAN bus and have a facility to easily receive, modify and send CAN bus messages 3/ Bluetooth and USB (camera) 4/ Work as IoT edge device and send the data (onboard telemetry data, video stream) to the cloud via 5G and receive control commands 5/ Exchange information with the User Interface designed in a headunit of type: [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] 6/ Connect to 3-4 temperature sensors 7/ Send the motor information (RPM, electric current values) to the programmable sound generator unit 8/ Assure future connectivity with Azure IoT Edge and AWS Greengrass like platforms
