We spent a summer working on a side project to train an OpenCV algo to detect Malaria in blood cells.
The reasons for this are many but essentially we wanted to get this into a small computing package like a Raspberry PI along with a Microscope so that it could go into field hospitals and clinics everywhere in the world to help cut down the transmission vector of the disease.
Fast forward 18 months my previous company has given me control of the algo and I want to open source it, my engineer is unable to contribute further to the project due to personal commitments.
To get the package ready I need to get it into a state which we can push it to the world for experimentation.
For reasons unknown the past engineer implemented it on Windows, the key task is to implement this on Linux.
Experience with OpenCV and Python on Windows is ideal.
Please keep your bids low, I am paying for this additional work personally.
Hi!
I'm an Electrical Engineer. My BSc thesis was on Obstacle Detection and Avoidance via Image Processing. That's when I worked on Raspberry Pi 2.0 using OpenCV 3.0 with Python.
I can send you my thesis, you may have a look at it and see if you find me suitable to work with you on your project (which I personally find very interesting given the dengue outbreak that hit Pak. a couple of years back).
Hope to hear from you.
Best,

Hi,
I have done projects on openCV and python (Django-REST). I used openCV to Contours finding and point detection. I am experienced in this library and can implement any algo on it.
