Hello, We would like to have a custom booking system for our car rental website. Our current setup involves a standard WordPress theme with a booking form, but we're looking to take our user experience to the next level. Project Objectives: We aim to implement a comprehensive booking system that caters to different car rental needs across various destinations worldwide. This system will allow us to efficiently manage bookings, prices, and dealer interactions. Key Features: Create and manage destinations with varying prices. Define distinct prices for car groups based on destination. Facilitate different car rental providers with specific details. Generate shortcodes for destination-specific pricing on landing pages. Establish a dealer network associated with destinations. Enable order assignment to qualified dealers. Automate customer order confirmation and pickup/drop-off details. Implement seasonal pricing (low, medium, high) set by operators. Develop an affiliate plugin for external websites to integrate our booking form. Ensure scalability for future use on other websites. Requirements for the booking system: Custom Booking System: -Replace existing booking form with a custom booking system. -System operates with predefined car groups across worldwide destinations. Destination Management: -Ability to create new destinations (e.g., Malaga, Mallorca). -Prices vary for each destination. -Set different prices for car groups in each destination. Car Rental Providers: -Different car rental providers with pickup and drop-off details. -Set distinct prices for car groups across various destinations. Shortcodes: -Generate shortcodes for each destination with specific prices. -Shortcodes can be placed on destination-specific landing pages. Dealer Management: - Ability to create dealers in backend. - Associate dealers with specific destinations (e.g., Mallorca). -Dealers qualified to handle bookings for associated locations. Booking Assignment: -Operator can assign orders to dealers. -Assignments only possible for dealers in the destination of the order. -Dealer receives email notification upon assignment. -Dealer can accept/reject bookings via their interface. Order Workflow: -If rejected, operator is notified to reassign. -Upon dealer approval, customer receives order confirmation with pickup/drop-off details. -Operator marks successful orders on dashboard. Seasonal Pricing: -Prices vary seasonally (low, medium, high). -Operator (us) defines these seasonal categories. External Affiliate Plugin: -Plugin for external pages/affiliates. -Allows upload and insertion of shortcodes on their websites. -Affiliate bookings included in operator's dashboard. -Each booking tagged with the generating external site/affiliate. Scalability: -Script should be duplicable for use on other websites.
