pdf to image conversion

Hi, we have a website which requires pdf to imageconversion on a linux server where in each page in the pdf needs to be converted to an image (.png). Please note we already have a system in place using imagemagick, however we are not happy with the image quality its producing. We are thus seeking a solution which delivers better quality and optimum sizer. It could be possible that we are not using imagemagick and if that is the case we should be open to the use of imagemagick itself however you should demonstrate that it infact is possible to achieve what we need using imagemagick itself. We are fully open to the use of any other open source or otherwise commercial tools otherwise, however you need to mention that in your bid which tool or program you intend to use. I do not need anything fancy and only working solution is all that is required. So basically you need to install the suggested tool on the server and create a php page which allows pdf uploading, passing parameters to the commandline tool you suggest and generate the image files in the specified location. This tool also needs to allow for changing generated image file parameters, like height, width and quality etc... We would be willing to buy a commercial tool as well if its cheap and does what we need. You however still need to install it for us and show that it actually delivers the right output.
