Need to automatically print barcodes from a PHP application

Basically what I need is to send numbers from a PHP application to be printed by a barcode printer automatically. I have a web application right now that outputs a bunch of ID numbers and instructs the user to manually write these numbers down on a sticker and put then on my inventory. What I need is insted of the user manually writing down the numbers and putting them on the inventory, I want a system that will automatically send the numbers to a barcode printer and print out a barcode and some additional information about the product. It is okay if the system prompts the user to print the barcode, but it would be better if it just did it automatically. There are 2 different PHP pages to be updated, and sometimes I will need as many as 50-100 barcodes printed out. The size of the barcodes should be small, about 1.5 cm by 3 cm (half inch by an inch and a half). Deliverables for this project: 1. All the relevant code installed on my web server in the 2 different files. 2. A recommendation of which printer(s) to buy that will print out barcodes of the appropriate size. 3. Once I purchase the printer, a working system on my home machine. I have no idea what is required to do this project, which is why I'm posting it here. Let me know if you think the budget is too low.
