Drupal XML Taxonomy (Filter Views) - repost

I need a hierarchical Taxonomy structure that can be used for navigation to drill down search results. This job should not require PHP coding, only using out of the box modules. I will provide access to the Drupal Modules Directory and a Drupal Admin user for the site. Each Taxonomy term represents a category. Each Node is tagged with those terms....... If the user drills down the selection, then the result are all subcategories that belong to the given main category on the one Hand, but all nodes that belong to this "parent" category as well........ The output must be in XML (as well). See below for an example...... I think this can be achieved with the Taxonomy module and one or two other modules. In fact I already have managed to create nearly what I need, but not exactly: [login to view URL] Modules I have in mind that could maybe be the solution: * Taxonomy Server * XMLRPC Server * Views XML * Maybe XML sitemap taxonomy already is enough to achieve this? * Feeds? * ..? Example: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I need A Taxonomy structure with n levels: E.g. Animals - Mammals --Cats --- Siam Cat --Dogs --- Irish setter --- Yorkshire Terrier - Reptiles --Snakes And so on...... The Taxonomy has a clean hierarchical structure, but all terms can be used as tags for tagging images....(each image will maybe be a content type, so a node(?)). For instance a picture of a Yorkshire Terrier would get the Tag "Yorkshire Terrier" but also the "Parent tags", "DOG" and "MAMMAL".... So far I can do it in my own..... This can be managed with the Taxonomy Manager and the Taxonomy tree widget.... The challenge is: I need a module, which outputs the taxonomy structure in XML (similar to in my URL [login to view URL], only in n levels depth and providing a clean structure not like in my example ). This XML will be read by an Android App and the Android App will create a Menu to drill down the selection of images....... So additionally the XML must provide the links to further drill down the selection and the links to the included nodes that fit the current term. For instance: If a user has selected the link belonging to "Mammals", then the next XML is opened: This XML provides all sub categories of Mammals (Cats, Dogs, and their Subcategories as well), but also all nodes (images) that are tagged with Mammals..... Because each Dog or Cat is a Mammal, the search result of this "Filter" needs to be included as well.... and the XML would contain the links to all images that are in Category Mammals. A user drills down the selection to Dogs: The next XML gives us the Structure of the next "Root node": It offers us 2 main categories: Yorkshire terrier and Irish setter and all images that belong in one of these 2 categories...... and so on......
