I need a Java app (OS 4.2 and later) created that has no UI, but runs in the background and monitors incoming emails. It will scan each email for a keyword and if that keyword is found, it sends the entire contents of the email to my server for processing and stores the result.
This is a skeleton application that I will be using to build another app from. The 2 core issues I need careful attention to are:
1. Monitoring and reading incoming emails automatically.
2. Reliably connecting to the internet and accessing an http web service
Important: Please read the detailed description for specifics. There is a good chance that someone out there has already done the required work and can just copy and paste.
## Deliverables
Email scanning must operate on all configured inboxes.
Internet connection must be able to automatically detect what type of internet connection the user's phone supports (BIS, BES, TCP, WAP1, WAP2, APN, etc.) and use that type without user intervention or need for configuration. This is not a simple problem to solve but the entire solution can be found in RIMs Network Diagnostic Tool here:

A large part of this project is creating a system which can be used to connect to the internet as described above and can be used to fetch a URL. Since this core piece is used in any other internet-enabled blackberry app, it is likely that someone out there has this done already.
Once this app has been created, I will modify it with my own code to add the user interface and make several different internet web service calls.
