need a simple android app as a xmlrpc client to my webservice

Hi mobile coders, I have a simple need of a mobile app (android only for now) I have a web service on a server and need an app to communicate with it throught xmlrpc calls. Design will be minimal, a splash screen, then a simple screen with 2 or 3 buttons. Will also need to be able to play embeded sounds and videos (I will provide the content) In short, you will have to read the GPS position and then ask the webservice if something has to happen (infos, play a media). I can be available 3 hours in a row for a few evenings (west europe time) so we can discuss details throught skype. I'd need to be able to recompile the project myself. Code will be neatly commented. If this project, that I see as a prototype, goes to next step (which I work for), then more work will be needed. Detailed requirements will be provided as user and technical stories. I'll need a functional minimal app a week after freelancer selection.
