We have issues sending email to certain domains who don’t recognize our MAIL host domain server account. Client host rejected: cannot find your hostname, in reply to RCPT TO command) Infrastructure: ZIMBRA WEBMAIL on a CENTOS 6 SERVER and the Network Gateway is a PFSENSE Firewall. They are all in a Cloud environment. Everything is working fine, the only issue is the email to certain domains who reject email with the message: cannot find your hostname, in reply to RCPT TO command). WE NEED TO IMPLEMENT A REVERSE DNS FOR OUR INTERNAL MAIL SERVER MATCH OUR DOMAIN Please: We need someone who understands LINUX, PFSENSE, and ZIMBRA and knowns how to set up a DNS Reverse ARP Proxy to resolve our internal mail name to our external mail domain and email messages wont be rejected anymore.

Hello, Normally you just need to ask whoever owns the IP (range) to set the PTR for you to match the hostname of the mailserver. Some mail systems check this and reject deliveries if not matched, others don't have this check. So your server / IP (network) provider should always have this option available to set a PTR for the IPs you're using. ARP won't do much on the internet itself as it's not routed outside.
