We need to have several home automation applications installed and configured using .deb/.rpm installers for linux. The attached script does the complete install that we need done so its just function needs to be converted to a standard installer. Tasks: 1) Create a .deb that will fulfill the function of the [login to view URL] script. 2) Script the process to create .deb files for the various architectures. 3) Verify that alien can be used to create RPM installers that work. 4) Optional: Create a script including installers for OSX. If you specify that you will do this in your bid you will be allowed a higher price. It will be equally fine if you want to have the script create RPM installers and use alien to create the .deb installers. Describe in your bid your experience in creating installation packages and which type(s) you have had experience in.

Hi, Creating packages for different OS's is relatively easy with the right tool. I have used FPM([login to view URL]) in the past and it has worked well for me. It creates native packages for many different flavors of Linux and also for OSX(I haven't tried an OSX package built by FPM). Major work would entail creating a wrapper script that would in turn invoke to build packages for different architectures and Operating System. Please share the list of architectures you would like to be supported by this script.
