Configuring postfix on Ubuntu

I have an Ubuntu server which hosts a few sites, I have installed postfix and squirrelmail on it. The problem I am having is that I am not able to send or receive mail, I don't get any errors from the [login to view URL] file or squirrelmail, I am not actually sure what I am doing wrong. I need someone to guide me through debugging to get things working, this should not take long as I have everything installed. I am looking to pay on an hourly basis but I expect your full guided attention for those few hours. Only bid if you have experience in this field, particularly in setting up postfix. Please quote me on your hourly rate and duration.
