I've had a CCJ placed against me unknowingly - I only realised when I checked my credit score. I contacted the company who issued it and they sent me a letter on the 1st of March saying if I pay within the month then it would be set aside. I paid immediately but the court has just marked it as satisfied rather than removing it. This is because the claim was on 17th December but they failed to inform me. Now they want me to apply to appeal the case for an additional £255. The presence of a CCJ on my credit rating is quite serious so I need it removed and feel there is grounds to have it removed.

Dear Sir/Madame, You have to understand that the appeal will cost you the money. Those £255 shall have to be paid and are not evitable. However, if you are sure that the company failed to inform you about the debt on time then this amount might be recovered back from the company. Contact me for further details.
