We have been looking for an extraordinary candidate to build a room planner program that is a prototype. What we mean by prototype is an initial first version draft of the program that will scale.
This is a small freelance gig to build a room planner program with drag and drop functionality and integrate it into an existing small website.
If you like challenges, love fixing complex problems, think outside the box, consider yourself a master developer/GURU with a eye for design, expertise in Javascript, and experience/understanding of room planners in 2D and 3D, then you are the right person for this gig.
Prospective candidates will be interviewed by a web developer who will review sample code to see if the candidate understands how to code properly and cleanly with technical expertise in programming languages.
The skills required are:
understanding and expertise in room planner programs
Expertise in cross-browser compatibility
Skilled in HTML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, MYSQL, UML, Ruby with Rails and AJAX,and JavaScript. The more you know the better.
3D understanding, familiarity, and interest
Open source content management systems development and integration
Development from the ground up with confidence
UI/drag and drop functionality-heavy interaction between user and app
Please provide the following CODE SAMPLES or provide your GITHUB account so code can be reviewed. We are requesting samples of code for the following below because your code will be reviewed by a web developer see if you understand how to code properly and cleanly with technical expertise in programming languages.
1) Examples of advanced jQuery UI techniques, such as drag and drop
2) Asynchronous Database interaction (proficiency with ajax, json, etc)
3) HTML/CSS expertise
4) Any design UI examples
5) Any 3D modeling that you like or have done

We will provide examples of websites with room planners as reference for the candidates that are asked to interview.
