change color code in css for form text and other duties

I need the text located in all forms on my site colored black instead of white. I have coded the site in css to have normal text as white and as a result it has also colored all of my form field text. Also i have a jquery slider which rotates content areas. if i scroll down to the bottom of the page (slider is at the top), whenever the slider rotates content areas, it will push the home page up a bit, i dont want this to happen. The last thing we need is a script which will enlarge the thumbnails on our site. If someone clicks a product, they are taken to the product page where there is a larger image. If someone clicks this larger image, it will then create somewhat of a lightbox and show an even larger image.
