My Ph.D. is in philosophy with a concentration logic and I have been writing quite a bit on binary spaces. (Also, I did technical writing for about 20 years, but am retired now.) The latest paper of mine is "A New Three Dimensional Hypercube", and there is an extensive section about pattern recognition in binary spaces using the cube. In addition, I have other peer-reviewed papers on binary logic.
In doing a quick web search, there are many entries about the Local Binary Pattern Algorithm (LPB), so there is no question that I can do the research. You did not indicate that you wanted an expert on the subject, and this would be a learning experience for me, an adjunct to the hypercube project. If you want a quick turnaround and someone who is an expert in LPB, you need to look elsewhere, but you may be aware that the field is specialized. From me, an experienced an published academician, you will get a substantial research paper in suitable form and with diagrams and illustrations.
I can assemble the paper, of course, but I would not anticipate any earth shattering conclusions. It will be only a report of what I have found. Inasmuch as it is only a report, I would suspect that it is not to be published, as published papers generally contain a research conclusion and/or new findings.
