Complete redesign of Not for Profit Animal Welfare Website

I am looking for a talented web designer to completely redesign our Not for Profit Animal Welfare website animalsstayingalive.com. The main goal of this redesign is to increase user engagement and create a visually appealing website that is easy to navigate. Specific features that I would like to include in the website are a donation platform, volunteer sign-up, and adoption listings. More details: Our current website is hosted on 1&1but am open to a platform that may be more functional. Currently, pet owners contact us either a form manager or just a referral by word of mouth thru previous client or veterinary clinic. I am responsible for monitoring the website for communication, gathering and processing information. I communicate with animal owners and emergency vet providers. The process isn’t automated and requires me being “on call” checking for emails almost 24/7. When I receive an email, it’s predominately from an owner requesting info or help. I send a standard email about our charity, the requirements and informing them to send estimates from vets with the same basic requirements. The animal has to be in an emergency situation - we don’t fund diagnostic testing or procedures. Once I gather the information, I forward to the founder for determination on grants. Next, I communicate with the owner and if the grant is approved, I send credit card info to the vet for the amount of the grant. I would like this process automated. For example, if they send a message through our info email site, they would be directed to a form manager that details requirements, if it’s a message about an injured animal, they would be directed to a form they would complete with animal, owner, vet info along with confirmation that the owner doesn’t have the financial resources, it represents an emergency where the animal would not otherwise survive or the animals quality of life would be compromised. The form would identify requirements without separate communication from me. We require an estimate and statement of diagnosis from the attending vet. Once the estimate is received, I would receive an alert for my review and I would send the grant request to the founder. If approved, I send an email to the vet with the grant amount and a cc number info for charging. This process requires that I re-enter info. Lengthy, but I’d like to be alerted to a request instead of constantly monitoring email. I’d like the animal owner to input information so that the process is streamlined and information is retained for data collection and reporting requirements. Also note that we receive emails that have nothing to do with our main mission - providing grants for emergency animal care. Perhaps if they were to not designate it as an animal emergency, it could be handled on a non-emergency basis. ------ While I do not have specific color schemes or design elements in mind, I have a general idea of the look and feel that I want for the website. I am open to suggestions and would love to work with a designer who can bring my vision to life.
