We have an excel file which contains several shapes in it. What we want is, develop an c# algorithm to find the number of shapes, number of holes in a shape, corner coordinates of a shape , area of the shape, centroid of the shape. What you should do with your code: 1- Read the excel file 2- define 2 for loops to scan the excel file 3- if you detect non-zero value cell, this means that you find a shape. Values in a shape are all the same. For instance , you may have a rectangle with values 2 and a square with all cells have the value 4. 4- After detecting the shape, you should find the number of corners (corners are green in the sample excel file, indeed the excel files we have are colorless. Corners are painted to green just you to see them easily , so you can understand the project), corner coordinates, number of holes, hole coordinates, area , length of edges, centroid coordinate. 5- After finding all the values of a shapes, then programmatically create a text file as: Shape #1: Number of corners: 4 Corner coordinates: 0,0 4,0 4,4 0,4 Number of holes: 1 Coordinate of the hole: 2,2 Area: 16 Length of edges: 4 4 4 4 Centroid coordinate: 2,2 Shape #2: Number of corners: .... so on...
