We are looking for a qualified individual for Data Entry/Customer Service with hours from 12pm till 9pm, this great contractor to start opportunity is perfect for individuals that like to work from home. Our contractors get paid every 2 weeks Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities. Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution. Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data. Tests customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data; reviewing output. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. With over 8 years of being in the corporate world of mixed BPO and insurance, I have received several trainings that served as a gateway to the skills I currently possess, which I believe will be beneficial to your company and at the same time, I am sure that I will benefit from the company as well, in terms of learning experience since I will be in a new environment which I know will improve my personality. I am currently employed to an insurance company as a claims officer who handles the entirety of a claim from lodgment until finalization. Critical decision making is a required skill to function effectively on my current role and I am confident to say that I am doing my job well. I also had hands on experience in providing customer support thru email prior to being a claims officer and that role helped me develop my writing skills. And my I consider my first work experience as a data entry because it did not require any customer contact at all, rather we only had to enter order details into the system accurately and from there, I became attentive to every detail. Even though I am new to this kind of environment, I know that I will fare well because I possess the I-can-do attitude. I take this as a challenge to myself and I want to prove that I can adapt whatever the situation is because we only grow when we get out of our comfort zone and that is what I am doing now.
