Hi,
I have a project of a penetration steel slug into a steel plate.
the ball is moving at 18deg angle to the surface. the halved plate is 125X250mm the ball is 3mm diameter with velocity of 2530m/sec
The model should implement adaptive meshing.
the deliverable are:
1. results of the crater left on the plate.
2. an animation of the projectile till it leaves the plate.
3. a document that will explain step by step the way the model was built.
