I am a copy editor or content editor but I don't deal much with graphics or formatting, so depending on the look you want for your manual, you may want a layout editor to provide/create/organize the graphics and improve the look of the document, once a content editor has corrected and clarified the wording. I have 12 years of experience as a copy editor, including five very successful years on Freelancer. I have a technical writing certificate, the training for which focused on editing manuals.
