Hi there, I assume you have those phones, but not the CCM (Call/Communication Manager) and plan to use phones with some other IP-PBX (not from Cisco). It is quite easy to convert into SIP, however it requires quite some manual actions (at least plug-in/power-up/check-results), but if your environment is properly designed and you have a list of phones MAC-addresses - you can offload most of the manual actions to end-users. Anyway, for the procedure you'll need DHCP-server supporting option 66, TFTP-server and that's pretty much it. I have few Cisco 7941 in hands to test the procedure. cheers.
