I need a simple test method to test the ph level of textiles on my own. requirements: - can be executed by a newbie - does not require lab equipment - a digital ph meter can be used as part of the method - can be done with non-dangerous and freely available chemicals - required equipment and chemicals are not overly expensive output: - detailed description of each step and all required parts

u can use very simple ways with PH meter. Many commercial PH meter is available with different price ranges. The trick is, you have to use some commercially available PH calibrating solution or tab (to be dissolved in water to make solution). Finally, let the machine read and compare. That's your reading. if u like, u can write to me for discussion.
