I currently run a progressive feminist blog, A Women Phenomenally. However, I do not get to update it as often as I like. Nor do I have the chance to cover all the topics I would like due to my own freelance work. This contest requires submission of 4 articles of 500-800 words on any of the following topics: - U.S. House of Representatives current 20-week abortion bill - NSA leaks/spying and why we should care - U.S. military sexual assault - Hilary Clinton's current speaking engagements - Current high-profile cases of Indian pre-natal testing - Recent series of international rape cases - Making feminism appealing to Millennials - NY Gov. Cuomo's Women's Equality Bill - Recent Supreme Court Rulings And any ideas you get pre-approved by messaging me. These are opinion pieces and should be written in perfect English. They should also provide detailed (cited) information to introduce the topic. Ideally, you will be passionate about feminism and advancing women's status globally. There is a possibility for the winner(s) to regularly write long-term. Articles will be selected based on the following criteria: - Insightful - Proper English grammar and spelling - Distinctive voice - Ability to keep readers' interest - Informative - Progressive stance
