Make Simple Android Application

Proposed system: The App has two main parts First part is self-monitoring. Record hourly usage time and the apps used in that hour The second part is goal-setting for limiting usage The app target Children and Adults and user will ask for his age during first setting or during the installation For Children there are three moods or activities need to setting 1- Sleeping 2- Studying 3- Other activity 4- Overuse For Adults 1- Sleeping 2- Studying 3- Activity 4- Socializing (meeting) 5- Driving 6- Overuse For each mood user can set a mission of limiting usage with information including the duration (ranging from ten minutes to two hours), select the strategies, and set needed messages (motivating or alert messages). When the mission is started, the app’s mode is switched to theselected mood and applies the strategy There are tree strategies 1- Forbids the execution of any apps (except receiving incoming calls) 2- Puts the smartphone into silent mode. 3- Puts the smartphone into airplane mode. User has two chances to break the mission, but before that the app will show him the messages or motivation message to complete the goal. In children case the message will show as voice message, so the user can record the message. All moods have the same setting except the overuse In overuse, that based on the daily usage time So the app will read the overall time and when he exceed the time that he set it, the app give the user alert message and also he can select strategy for limiting usage as in other mood There are two main screens 1- Display a user’s profile (daily usage time, activity statistics of the day), which allows users to understand the overall status of usage/limiting behavior. 2- Screen to setting the limiting usage strategies a. App shows the list of all moods b. User can activate any mood he need c. And for each mood he set the need information d. Duration of mission applied during 24 hrs, and there is a choice to repeat the mood daily or weekly (while taking regular classes or having weekly meetings) For example if user have daily or weakly meeting at the same time, he will set the mission just once The app can give the user weakly feedback that includes a summary of statues of mission progress.
