Vent, I am a mechanical power engineer but I totally can do what an aeronautical engineer can do. I work with solidworks and can perform the required simulation.I work with Ansys for CFD too. I studied Fluid Dynamics and Advance Fluid Dynamics. I will first start by doing the testing of the existing model to check for the pressure distribution and vortex. Then I can see what can be modified to laminate the airflow, like to add strainer or straighteners or to by-pass the fluid or to fillet the inlets .
