To whom it may concern, I have a computer chip with a microphone, made by Cypress Semiconductors. It's a CY8C4 PRoC micro-controller. It captures audio, encodes it via ADPCM, sends the compressed audio via BLE to a physical BLE dongle which decodes the audio and sends it to the PC. Cypress also provides a software decoder, to decode the audio without using the dongle, but I've thus far been unable to grab listenable audio with it. I am trying to record a wav audio file using the BASSEnc add-in of BASS audio library. [see ][1] This is for use later by a legacy C++ app (this can be shared) The format is ADPCM 32K 4bit wav format. This the old G.721 CCIT format now replaced by the G.726 format. The codec in Windows has been disabled to work only with NetMeeting so that is not an option. We also keep a recorded audio session that is time synchronized with the video. This audio file should also be played in media player with the video.
