Would like a an asp.net 2.0 website application control developed that will operate exactly like this one here:
however it is only required to have one file browse option instead of multiple ones. When the user clicks the submission button, the progress bar will popup indicating in real time the actual amount of time it will take to upload the file and the status of the upload at any point in time. A cancel button will be present that will stop the upload and close the popup window.
Once the file has been uploaded to memory "not saved yet" then I will have full access to all the methods and properties inherited from or similar to asp.net 2.0's built in FileUpload control to access the following methods and properties:
.ContentType
.ContentLength
.InputStream
.SaveAs etc...
Note: The above functionality is important as I do not want to physically save the file to the server unless it is of the required file type, file size etc. The application I am developing only allows the end-user to upload files with a maximum file size of 750Kb.
Thankyou!
I am have 2+ years of experience in .Net Development using .Net Framework 1.1 and 2.0.
I have developed some server as well as client controls in my past projects.
I would like to avail this opportunity to prove myself once again over here.
