This project will likely have several phases. The first is very simple. I need a program that will automate the creation of google alerts. I want to be able to input a list of keywords, and have the program spit out all of the associated rss google alert links based on a few set of criteria that are chosen to achieve the correcr output It doesn't need to be sexy and is only going to be for personal use. I just need it to get the job done. I will likely never input more than 50 to 100 keywords at a time and wouldn't have a problem doing fewer at a time if that makes a difference. To wrap it up, the simpler the better. Please include your bid and/or any related questions you may have. I will not respond to copy and paste responses. I will only respond to direct replies to my specific need. I am ready to move forward on this immediately, so looking for the first reasonable offer. As mentioned, after this phase is over, another phase will likely be started right away.

Hi, I'm a python programmer and it looks like there is no API for Google alerts yet. So I would be using normal web automation to do this project. Basically the program would go to the alerts website, put the preset filters in (which we can change anytime), put the keyword that you gave, and then just send the alert. Currently, there is no official Google Interface (API) for google alerts. So my suggested solution to use a program that I'm currently working on to automated web testing. I can easily adapt my program to work with Google alerts and batch phases input. This will also be great to test my program in the real world scenario. Regards Gerhard
