Need a small custom desktop application developed, needs to be a native windows application, not a web app, etc. Language is open to discussion but C# or .NET are preferred.
Required Functions of the Application: Manage a list of URLs, and the program will, at a set time download the files in the URL list to a user defined folder, and name them as [login to view URL], where YYYY is the 4 digit year, MM is the 2 digit month, DD is 2 digit day, HH is 2 digit hour based on 24 hour clock, and mm is the 2 digit minute. The Application will also have a number of items to be retained, set by the user, so if they say 3 for example, the application will keep the three most recent downloads from each URL, and delete the older ones. That is all. Very Simple. I have code that accomplishes a lot of this in a non-windows language which can be used as an example to work from.

I can create this application using probably C/C++. But as far as I know, C# and .net can't be used to create "Native" windows applications. You can use them to create .NET or managed applications.
