An I apologize I meant to say EEG it is an apparatus that is used to monitor brain waves in different lines of the brain it generally works on 5 types of waves and they fluctuate frequently. I would want the programming to change the servos once the waves hit a peak or a low.

Hi Pete, we can use simple voltage divider circuit to read ignition pulse signals from Arduino. you will need couple of resistors to do this and, then you can read signal with miliseonds timestamp on it.
