On screen display from serial data

I'm assuming from your description that what you have is 14 bit parallel timeseries data, rather than serial data, although if it is a series of byte pairs then that is OK too. You didn't mention your timezone. Also what platform are you targetting for your display? Is it a PC, or Unix, or web browser? All of these are possible.
