Windows python software with http/json communication

We need a skilled software developer to develop a small and simple software to handle local files and communicate with a web service through json and http post. The original project was posted with programming in C as a requirement. We have changed the requirement to python. Both projects (C/Python) are open for bids, but we hope the python version will attract some developers as well. The aim of the software is to provide a quick and easy way of moving files to an archive directory structure on a server and post the file location and meta data to a web service. Developing the web service is not a part of the project. Description of GUI and functionality: The user opens a folder with pdf files (in Windows Explorer) and right clicks on a file (or selects more than one file and right clicks). The right click menu is to provide a new entry "Send to Web Archive" (or, "Web Archive" can be put in the "send to" menu, if that is easier). The menu text may be subject to change. When selecting "Send to Web Archive", the software GUI is launched. The GUI prompts a login box with username, password and "remember me" check box, as well as a "log in" button. When checking off "remember me", the software pre enters username and password on next launch (but still provides the possibility to change username and password before clicking "log in"). The password field must not display the password. The software passes login information to the web service. The web service responds with json data. If the response is not OK, the login prompt must display a login error message. Provided the response is OK, the next step of the GUI is launched. In the next step, the user can enter a title for each document (file name is pre entered as title). The title can be different for each file, but the rest of the meta data is common: A select dropdown field "Resource type" with values received from web service (typically {'UID':'Person', 'CID':'Customer', ...} where "Person" and "Customer" are displayed values and "UID" or "CID" are values to be passed on as part of the http post). After selecting resource type, the user can search for resource to be connected width the files. As they type, the web service connects to the web service to find matching results. The result is displayed as a drop down select box. The user selects one of the resources, and clicks "Archive". As part of the resource json data, you will find a destination directory path. When clicking "Archive", the file(s) must be moved to this directory. If the directory does not exist, it must be created before moving the files. The software then sends a http post to the web service with all relevant meta data (files (list of files with title and complete path including file name), resource type, resource ID, and login info. If the response is OK, a success message is displayed "File(s) archived" with a OK button. When clicking the button. The software exits. That's it. It is a long description, but the software is fairly simple. The software must be provided with installation routines. When installing the software, there must be options for web service url (as this is to be used in connections with different urls for different customers). This can be stored in registry or in a config file. Platform: The software must be able to run in a Windows environment (XP, Vista, W7) as well as on a Citrix platform and remote desktop using Windows server.
