I can develop a scraping script for amazon that will scrape price and monitor it to notify about the changes. How many products do you plan to monitor with the scraper? How big the price change should be? Should it only be a positive price change or a negative one too? Should there be a setting to change the amount of change to notify? Hi, I have experience in both python and mobile app development. Since you wanted to know the process. #case 1: assuming you don't want to host it in server. I'll be creating a mobile app personalized to you. Which when opened will have a wishlist and have a rows of links which it is currently tracking. It'll show the name of the product previous price and newly reduced price(if changed). You will be able to add links to it either manually. which will be used rarely. or you'll be able to open amazon click on the item you want to track and just click share. then when the sharemenu pops on the mobile. you can just click on tracker app and that'll get automatically added. ( as you might know scraper a way to constantly access and check the change) this app will be running in background and keep rechecking the price of the items in the wishlist. based on the time you set. (10mins,30mins,2hrs etc). you'll be able to even set the threshold of amount drop difference. like notify only if the drop in like 10% or so. based on these parameters. when the price drop happens you'll get a push notification from the app. linking it to the page. #case 2. If you want to work on desktop too. we'll make a web app and need to host it. so that the whole thing will be saved on cloud and the notification come via notification too.
