Project: Retrofit existing PHP/MySQL website with content management tools and forms.
This site is the web presence for a real estate development company and has 4 key components that need to be retrofitted to allow in house staff the ability to update the website:
1) Real Estate Property Description: the site needs content management tools that allow the creation, editing, and deletion of property descriptions each description has a image 253 x 400 pixel image that will need to be uploaded at the time of the creation of the property description.
2) News and press releases: The ability to create, edit and delete news articles that can be sorted by date, author, publisher and topic.
3) Construction brief: The site needs the ability to create edit, and delete construction briefs (A construction brief is a photo gallery that comes with a short description of the construction project.)
4) Static content: The site the ability to add, edit and delete and create new content for the following pages Company Overview, Acquisitions, Investment Opportunities and Executive Profiles.

Notes:
The sites typography and design must be retained.
All content management tools whether they are form based or wysiwyg must be easy to use, requiring little working knowledge of HTML and to enhance user friendliness brief tips and hints are to be used liberally.
A password is to be required to access the content management tools. There are two chooses a PHP/MySQL database based user and groups access controls or password protected directory. ValueWeb provide the option to password protect directories.
Existing MySQL tables can be modified to accommodate the changes.
Existing content must be preserved and/or ported to new tables.
All work must be preformed in a professional manner providing inline comments documenting functionalities.
