[login to view URL] is a website where visitors can draw on a public canvas using a browser. Some groups "claim" a space and maintain a design. Vandalism however makes maintaining designs a manual process. This project would be to research how a simple extension for Chrome could be used to help automate management of a design. Assuming something a possible a design phase for the project will start. The concept for the extension and requirements would be the following: Define an area for monitoring. Allow buffered editing. Monitor current drawing for outside changes and fix as needed. Deal with Captcha? Alert for user intervention is probably ok. Automated solution is prefered. There is an existing project which is linux based. Perhaps this will yield some useful information: [login to view URL] I'm open to ideas and suggestions with the project as well.

Hi there. I have a suggestion regarding this project. You can set a server that will run that python script, and the user of the extension will be sending the stream back to the server, a server does the logic, and comes back to the user with results. However, using this method will require you to find a server that will receive those calls from the extension user ie. that will host that python script over there.
