Basic: A free membership site where you can either: A.) Post a bill you want help paying. B.) Pledge to pay some of someone elses bill. *NB no financial scripts needed, only payment details show when you pledge (ie. Biller Code & Account Number). It is social lending in a way, below are my notes, feel free to make suggestions. Brief: A very simple feeling site which allows you to post Bills you have (ie Electricity Bill, Gas Bill, Car Repayments, etc.), the amount of the bill in $, When it is due and the payment details (ie Biller Code and Account Number) which is only provided to someone once they choose to pay $X of your bill. It is not to make money however just for people to help eachother out with bills. When you post a bill it will also show your account profile, which shows: 1.) About Me (Username). 1.a). My Rating 2.) How I will pay it forward if you help me out? (IE. If you pay $x of my bill, I will in 2 weeks time pay $x of your bills you post). 3.) All my bills have posted. 4.) All the verified bills I have paid. To do this it needs a very simple user management script (suggesting Drupal / Joomla) and a nice looking web 2.0 style layout. Very basic front page; login/register and two big buttons – “Post My Bill” and ”Pay It Forward”. It will need a basic header for menu items. User module to login and view all the bills you have listed, has anyone pledged to pay any amount of it, view people who have pledged to pay your bills. If someone has pledged to pay your bill it will show the amount they selected and the date. You then can click on a verify button to verify if they actually did pay the amount they pledged. This will give them a 1 point rating. So if someone pays lots of other peoples bills and they check and they are paid that person will have a large rating. If you pay someone else's bill you must be logged in – so you can get a rating. It will need to have screens to view; My Account Details, Bills I have paid, My Bills (which then you can click in to see if anyone has pledged an amount, and verify if they have to give them the rating I mentioned before), View All Others Bills (everyone on the site who has lodged a bill, this needs to be able to be sorted by Due Date, Amount, Type Of Bill (Electricity, Gas, Water, Phone, Car, Bank (Credit/Loan, Etc), Home/Mortgage/Rent, Other (Must provide description). Needs main admin account to have powers to email all users and an overview sceen of $x bills listed, $X bills pledged, $x bills verified. Accept privacy policy on signup. That is all I can think of, hopefully it makes sense to you, if not please ask questions, or make suggestions for added benefits. Also you will need to put on my server once done, or I can give you a server while you are making it. I think it will be a nice script to help people in this bad time where so many people are losing their jobs. It is just a twist on social lending in a way. Talk Soon. - A.
